From July 17th to 30th, 2024, Van Cleef & Arpels highlights some of its most emblematic sources of inspirations with a watchmaking pop-up in Chadstone shopping centre. With up to 40 timepieces on display, the area is transformed into a poetic world through universes dear to the Maison: Love Stories, Enchanted Nature, and Poetic Astronomy™.

Born out of the love story between Alfred Van Cleef and Estelle Arpels, the Maison has accompanied the expression of feelings since its creation. To this day, love infuses Poetry of Time™ with its rhythm and offers a vision of watchmaking imbued with emotions.

In the pop-up, visitors may choose to share a heartfelt letter to their loved ones, with a bespoke Van Cleef & Arpels' postcard, inspired by Parisians cityscape. They have the option to either take it home, or post on-site directly.

A watchmaking signature of Van Cleef & Arpels since 2010, the Lady Arpels Pont des Amoureux watch features a tender reunion. In a decor that recalls Parisian streets, two lovers move towards each other throughout the day to share a kiss at noon and midnight. The timepiece is revealed in different tableaux, depicting the kiss in daytime, nighttime and seasonal variations.

Poetry of Time™ is the blend of inventiveness and fantasy which is at the forefront of watchmaking at Van Cleef & Arpels. Time is expressed through an Enchanted Nature, infusing poetry and vitality into its watch dials, or by Feminine Figures, symbols of joy and hope. It is also represented with the Poetic Astronomy™, evoking the magic of a starry night, the Zodiac constellations or the ballets of the planets.

A source of dreams and escape, these themes have shone in creations revealing the diversity of materials and techniques that unite to offer a captivating interpretation of the spectacle of the stars, flora and fauna, and fairytale stories. 

Fairies and ballerinas tick away the hours, while the rhythm of nature meets the cadence of the cosmos. In line with the various watch collections, each timepiece relates a tale of grace and enchantment.
